Number One Hundred and One - Sarah - Denver - Born August 31st, 82
I'm from Norman, Oklahoma, so I grew up hearing about the Lips. Unfortunately I didn't really discover them musically until The Soft Bulletin. I've now seen the Lips twice, both times in Oklahoma City. Next up- Red Rocks! I love the Lips for their originality. I love Steven for his humanity.

Number One Hundred and Two - Ron - UK - Too old for most things

Number One Hundred and Three - Chad - Rochester, MI - Born February 16, 87
hello my name is chad and i love steven drozd. he has influenced my own music creativity more than any other musican. i just finished my freshman year at college and everyday this year we would hang out blasting the new at war cd. my friend just had a early edition copy sittin on his desk and he didnt even really like the flaming lips. he said his brother gave it to him and told him to listen to it but he hadnt. i have been a lips fan for a while now so i was crapping my pants when i saw he had the cd already. im going to see the lips august 3rd in ohio, and august 4th in michigan. lalapalooza is that weekend but i dont think im going to go to that to see the lips again cause that would be way to much concert/money spend time. but yea...i love mr drozd. he is a genius...the end.

Number One Hundred and Four - Lissy - Melbourne, Australia - Born October 7th, 88
I love the Lips. Steve Drozd and Steve Burns are highly magnificent people.

Number One Hundred and Five - Robbie Ferguson - Glasgow, Scotland - Born July 18th, 87
I'm in Glasgow, scotland. The website link isn't mine but the music is totally wicked and equally ace. I like the lips and sonic youth, apples in stereo, sleater kinney, and a lot of other bands. Feel free to add me on msn or whatever to discuss/send/be sent new music (telecaster676@hotmail.com)

Number One Hundred and Six - apolloniabb - London - Born January 30th, 80

Number One Hundred and Seven - Andreas Jacobsen - Copenhagen, Denmark - Born August 14th, 81
I'm a 24 year old man from Denmark. I am a musician, and inspired by Steven, I try to play as many instruments as possible, preferably at the same time... The Lips have been one of my favorite bands since the first time I heard Soft Bulletin. I love their songs, their sound, their arrangements, their shows, the whole package really!I have come to realise how huge a part Steven plays in the creation of this wonderful music, and so, when I saw this club mentioned in the book by J. Derogatis, I thought I'd sign up, mainly to show my appreciation to Mr. Steven Drozd, for the wonderful times he has given everyone of us.

Number One Hundred and Eight - Fernando Franco - Guatemala - Born September 23th, 86
Yes, I have seen the Flaming Lips live. For those who have experienced it, they kno wthere are no words in any language created by the human race that can describe the feelings that overtake you when you see and hear the greatest band in this face of the Earth. Its and experience of self abstraction. But about me, umm Im 19, I was born and live in Guatemala, a small country in Central America, and music is my passion. and i recently saw the Flaming Lips in Sasquatch music festival, great hail storm btw, it made the lips play for more time, so to whoever caused it, thank you. Favourite lips record, Soft Bulletin.

Number One Hundred and Nine - Richard Faught - Kansas - Born June 7th, 83
Semi-multi-instumentalist minimalist with a weakness for thick, layered synths. A fan for many years, I recently attended my first Lips show at Wakarusa. There is no turning back.

Number One Hundred and Ten - Karen - everywhere that I'm not - Born 62 - Website
I jumped up and down on stage next to Steven in a giant mouse suit, both in the middle of Manhattan and a hillside ski resort under the stars. I could never put in to words how much I adore & appreciate..

Number One Hundred and Eleven - Kenny Goode - Booneville, Mississippi - Born July 20th, 52
The Flaming Lips are great. Steven Drozd and I are cousins and, though we have never met, his Mississippi family is very proud of his accomplishments!

Number One Hundred and Twelve - Mark West - Reading, England - Born December 3rd, 73
Big Big fan of the lips sinces seeing them in 93, Have been to see every London UK gig since this time, with the exception of the boombox experiments at the Shepherds Bush Empire in summer of 98. I play drums and adore Stevens style of playing and total musicality. Why he isn't universally revered is beyond me. I like drumming, kayaking, listening to vinyl in my loft and making fine cocktails.

Number One Hundred and Thirteen - Linda Hermosilla - Austin, Tejas - Born September 2nd, 73 - Website
Greetings - I've been a longtime Lips and Steven Drozd fan since my days in college. I'm a practicing Architect working at a firm in Austin Texas and I also teach Multimedia/graphics classes @ Austin Community College. I'd have to say my all-time favorite live show would have to be the one where Beck & the Lips played together. Seventh row seats, dead center...totally awesome. I'm looking forward to Austin City Limits but unfortunately the band can only play for an hour. Hopefully, they can come to Austin for another solo gig. As for my favorite album(s)? I'd have to say every one starting with 'Clouds Taste Metallic'.

Number One Hundred and Fourteen - Danny - Salt Lake City - Born January 7th, 82
I am a music gonzo freaker who loves the flaming lips and drozd's werk. I love travel, sunshine, and I tink that the soft bulletin restored my faith in creativity. less argy bargy and more honey dripped harmonies would do this planet a tinge of good.

Number One Hundred and Fifteen - Cameron Rademacher - Ohio - Born January 14th, 86
I can't help myself from dancing when I hear the music that Steven makes. His drumming is my favorite, its so crisp and slightly skitzophrenic.

Number One Hundred and Sixteen - Sadia Allred - Sunnyvale - Born March 7th, 92 - Website

Number One Hundred and Seventeen - Tomakak - Sunnyvale - Born June 11th, 78 - Website
I decided the Flaming Lips were my favourite band in 1997 nad saw them 3 times in 1999 at the height of the Soft Bulletin jazz. My favourite album is still probably Transmissions from the Satellite Heart because it was my induction. It also, ironically marked the Steven Drozd era, which let's face it, is what this is all about. Albert einstein was probably the last genius that humanity has seen, but if I had to make an exception for the field of music, it'd be Steven Gregory Drozd. I'm just some guy.

Number One Hundred and Eighteen - Luis Albeto Longo - Brasil - Born December 9th, 76 - Website
The Lips are my life, since 1992 ! go Lips go !!

Number One Hundred and Nineteen - Patrick Thompson - Moline, IL - Born November 9th, 70
I am tall, skinny, bespectacled, and utterly delicious!!! When not listening to the Quicksilver Messenger Service, Deicide or Fallout Boy, I grudgingly tolerate Yoshimi/Future Head/Clouds/Bulletin/etc. I can't pick a fave accurately because it changes every day. My goal this year is to FINALLY get the opportunity to see these brilliant bastards in the skin. Oh, and to learn how to cook mac-n-cheese. My feet are horrifying. Stay in school. Love, Patrick. XOXOXO

Number One Hundred and Twenty - Rosanna Foggo - Birmingham, England - Born October 13th, 88

Number One Hundred and Twenty-Four - Rick DelVecchio - Seoul, Korea - Born June 1st, 84 - Website
I got to meet Steven after a live Flaming Lips show. He was by far the nicest musician I've met...well...Him and Wayne are both really friendly. Steven actually pestered a guy who had a bummed out look on his face and asked him what he could do to make him happy. That's pretty intense. Steven Rules.

Number One Hundred and Twenty-Eight - Allison - Minneapolis, Minnesota - Born July 7th, 89 - Website
The Flaming Lips make me happy. Some of my favorite songs are Gash, and What is the Light. I'm seeing them at the State Fair in about a month with Sonic Youth. I couldn't be more excited unless I was seeing Radiohead again.

I am a student who works at a ranch called Toad Hall. My boss is Stanley Marsh 3, a famous multi-millionare Texan who has always given great support to the art world. I attended the Red Rocks show and saw the Lips live for the first time. I think that Soft Bulletin is the greatest musical recording of all time.

Number One Hundred and Thirty-Two - Danny Harding - Salt Lake City - Born January 7th, 81
I am an avid fan of great music and steven is responisble for the greatest among what I have heard. I just saw them at red rocks and of course was transported into a spinning, confetti filled version of ectasy and I don't even use drugs! my favorite album is soft bulletin (best american album in decades!)

Number One Hundred and Thirty-Three - Amy - London, UK - Born June 2nd, 71
I've seen the lips 6 times. Met Wayne, Steven and Kliph at the Electric Picnic in Ireland last year. Last time I saw them was in Munich this summer and I finally got to dance on stage in a Santa costume. Standing next to Steven while we waited to go on stage, you could tell he was soooo nervous. I asked him if he always gets nervous before a show and he said "yeah, reeeally nervous". I formed a very large soft spot for him right then. Such genius! Such humility! Such a sweetie!

Number One Hundred and Thirty-Four - Michael - Ireland - Born January 7th, 89
fan for a few years now, but moreso since 'fearless freaks'. this particularly attracted me to steven and eventually to this lovely website which i had to join! Great site, nell - and the merch, keep it up.

Number One Hundred and Thirty-Six - John Belmont - Seattle!! - Born October 28th, 69 - Website
I'm John. I live in Seattle and I miss the Lips!! I saw them here twice and was moved beyond measure. I think the first time I saw them play was on Letterman doing She Don't Use Jelly. I just finished watching the Fearless Freaks and reading Staring at Sound. And yes Steven D is an incredible musician - he and Wayne and Michael make such a killer musical team. My favorite Lips album is The Soft Bulletin followed by Yoshimi. Hey, whatever happened to Long John Silver's?

Number One Hundred and Thirty-Seven - Rory Caraher - Dublin, Ireland - Born October 26th, 90
Saw the Lips supporting Bob Dylan at The Source festival in Kilkenny (Awesome, though they only played for forty-five minutes), and I'm going to see them again in Manchester in November. Can't wait. My favourite album is a difficult one, but either Hit To Death In The Future Head, or The Soft Bulletin.

Hum, I was about to write in French...well. First, can you please excuse me for my English? I'm french canadian ^^'. I love the Lips. I never saw them live, but it's a thing I would really like to do. Steven Drozd is evidently the most talented member of the band, that's why I'm currently joining the club ^^. I play music (piano, accordion, clarinet, a little bit of guitar) and I enjoy listening to music. My favorite album of the Lips is Yoshimi, but I also love Clouds Taste Metallic. That's all about me!

Clouds Taste Metallic is one of the best albums ever. Also, The Flaming Lips are the greatest living band. Both are my opinion. Both are correct.

Number One Hundred and Forty-Six - Lua Nemic - Camby, IN - Born December 10th, 87 - Website
Hm, favorite things...music. Majoring in Audio Arts and Acoustics. Saw Lips live for the first time the night before last in Ohio. It was absolutely a religious experience. Other interests include painting...driving, I guess? I like to drive. Sure, whatever. I'm going to quit now.

Number One Hundred and Forty-Seven - Annie Bechtel - Park Ridge, IL - Born June 9th, 72
Saw the Lips live for the 1st time @ Lollapalooza in Chicago this summer, after being a fan for many years! First met the Lips as an intern @ Chicago's Q101 in '94, during the "Jelly" frenzy and thought they were just awesome guys. Actually watched the Lolla set from ONSTAGE. Feel free to check out my pics from the experience at anniearchy.myphotoalbum.com. I love cooking, working out, hanging out with my family and, naturally, the Lips and the manic genius that is Steven. Boo-yeah!

Number One Hundred and Forty-Eight - Rami Abu-Sitta - Buffalo, NY - Born March 21st, 88

I'ts not just beacause of the music but who they are as people. Hearing Steven's compositions always amazes me. Im going to my first Lips show this saturday in Toronto and i can't wait.
